RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Last updated: 15 September 2026

At Yenphinks, we want every order to meet your expectations. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing from Yenphinks.store, including your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

For any questions regarding a return, refund or cancellation, please contact us at:

Email: hello@Yenphinks.store
Website: Yenphinks.store

1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ONLINE ORDER

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the legal right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may notify us that you wish to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.

If an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period normally begins from the day after you receive the final item.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision within the cancellation period.

You may contact us at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

A simple written statement confirming that you wish to cancel your order is sufficient.

2. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within 14 days.

Please contact hello@Yenphinks.store for the applicable return instructions and return address.

Contacting us for return instructions does not affect your statutory right to cancel.

Items should be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit.

We strongly recommend keeping proof of postage or another record showing that the goods were returned.

3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

You are entitled to inspect and handle the goods in the same way that you would reasonably be allowed to do in a physical shop.

For clothing, this means that you may normally try an item on to determine its nature, characteristics, fit and appearance.

However, where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by that excessive handling.

Where reasonably applicable, returned items should include their original packaging, tags and accessories.

Removing packaging or trying an item on does not automatically remove your statutory right to cancel.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

For returns made because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us unless:

  • we have expressly agreed to pay the return cost;

  • the item is faulty, damaged, defective or not as described; or

  • UK law otherwise requires us to cover the cost.

If the item is faulty, damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

Where the goods do not conform to the contract, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

5. REFUNDS FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

When you validly exercise your cancellation right, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with UK law.

This includes the purchase price and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express or premium delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery option.

Where standard delivery was free, there is no standard delivery charge to refund.

We may withhold the refund until:

  • we have received the returned goods; or

  • you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back,

whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.

The refund will normally be made no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they were returned, as applicable under UK law.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed with you.

You will not be charged a fee simply for receiving a statutory refund.

6. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS

Your rights for faulty goods are separate from your right to change your mind.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by us must be:

  • of satisfactory quality;

  • fit for their intended purpose;

  • as described;

  • consistent with information provided before purchase; and

  • compliant with other applicable legal requirements.

If a product does not meet these requirements, you may have statutory rights to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction.

7. 30-DAY RIGHT TO REJECT FAULTY GOODS

If goods are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described, you will normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject them and request a refund.

The applicable period generally begins when:

  • ownership or possession of the goods has transferred to you;

  • the goods have been delivered; and

  • where applicable, any required installation has been completed.

This right applies to qualifying faults and is separate from the 14-day cancellation right for online purchases.

8. FAULTS DISCOVERED AFTER 30 DAYS

If a qualifying fault is discovered after the initial 30-day period, you may normally request a repair or replacement.

Any repair or replacement required under UK consumer law must be provided:

  • within a reasonable time;

  • without significant inconvenience to you; and

  • at no necessary cost to you.

Where a repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, cannot be completed within a reasonable time or would cause significant inconvenience, you may have the right to a price reduction or to reject the goods and receive a refund, subject to applicable law.

9. FAULTS WITHIN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS

Where a fault becomes apparent within the first six months after delivery, UK consumer law may presume that the fault existed when the goods were supplied unless we can demonstrate otherwise.

After six months, you may be required to demonstrate that the fault existed when the goods were supplied.

These rules do not affect any other statutory rights available to you.

10. LONG-TERM STATUTORY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live in the United Kingdom, legal claims concerning faulty goods may potentially be brought for up to:

  • six years in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; or

  • five years in Scotland.

These periods are limitation periods for bringing certain legal claims. They do not mean that every product must last for six or five years.

The expected lifespan of a product depends on factors including its nature, price, description, expected durability, care and reasonable use.

11. DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

Please provide:

  • your order number;

  • your name;

  • a description of the issue; and

  • photographs of the item and packaging where reasonably possible.

Photographs may help us investigate the issue more quickly but will not be used to unlawfully restrict your statutory rights.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a refund, replacement or another remedy required by law.

12. INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is different from the item you ordered, please contact us at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

We will arrange an appropriate remedy and, where required, cover reasonable costs associated with returning the incorrect product.

13. SIZE OR FIT

For online clothing purchases, you may use your statutory cancellation right if you decide that an item is not suitable because of its size, fit, colour or style, provided you notify us within the applicable cancellation period.

You may reasonably try clothing on as you would in a physical shop.

Items must not be worn beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess their fit or characteristics.

14. EXCHANGES

If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

Where available, we may arrange an exchange.

An exchange is subject to product availability and does not affect your statutory rights.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund may be issued where appropriate.

15. ITEMS THAT MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Certain categories of goods may be exempt from the statutory right to cancel where permitted by UK law.

Examples may include:

  • personalised or custom-made goods;

  • goods made specifically to your specifications;

  • goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;

  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken;

  • sealed audio, video or computer software products once unsealed; and

  • certain newspapers, magazines or periodicals.

These exemptions apply only where permitted by law.

An exclusion from change-of-mind cancellation rights does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

16. HYGIENE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS

Where a product is supplied with a hygiene or protective seal and cannot reasonably be returned for health or hygiene reasons after that seal has been broken, the statutory right to cancel may cease once the seal is removed.

This may apply, for example, to certain underwear or other hygiene-sensitive products.

This exception does not affect your rights where the item is faulty or not as described.

17. PERSONALISED OR CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS

Products created specifically to your instructions or clearly personalised may not qualify for the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.

However, you retain your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not otherwise comply with UK consumer law.

18. SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS

Products purchased during a sale, promotion or discount have the same statutory consumer rights as products purchased at full price.

A discount does not remove your rights simply because an item was sold at a reduced price.

Where an item has been reduced specifically because of a defect that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase, you may not be entitled to claim a remedy for that particular disclosed defect.

Your rights regarding any other fault remain unaffected.

19. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

Where possible, we will cancel the order before shipment and issue the appropriate refund.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may still exercise your applicable statutory cancellation rights after receiving it.

20. REFUSED OR UNCOLLECTED DELIVERIES

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute a valid notification of cancellation.

If you wish to cancel your purchase, you should clearly notify us at:

hello@Yenphinks.store

If an order is returned to us by a carrier, we will process the matter in accordance with your statutory rights and the circumstances of the return.

21. RETURNED PARCELS

Please ensure that returned parcels are properly packaged.

We recommend retaining:

  • proof of postage;

  • tracking information, where available; and

  • any communication relating to the return.

This can help establish when the goods were sent back and prevent delays in processing your refund.

22. REFUND PROCESSING

Once a refund has been issued by us, the time it takes to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control.

This does not affect our obligation to issue refunds within the time required by applicable law.

23. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

If you believe there is a problem with your order, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter promptly.

Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising any lawful rights you may have through your bank, card issuer, payment provider or applicable consumer protection legislation.

24. PROOF OF PURCHASE

We may reasonably ask you to provide evidence that the item was purchased from Yenphinks.

Acceptable evidence may include:

  • an order confirmation;

  • order number;

  • payment record;

  • email confirmation; or

  • other reasonable evidence of purchase.

A traditional paper receipt is not necessarily required where another form of proof is available.

25. FAIR USE OF THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraud or abuse of our returns process.

However, we will never use this policy to unlawfully restrict, exclude or misrepresent a consumer's statutory rights.

Any decision concerning a return or refund will be made in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

26. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable United Kingdom consumer protection legislation, including, where relevant:

  • the Consumer Rights Act 2015;

  • the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013;

  • the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024; and

  • other applicable UK consumer protection legislation and regulations.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right under applicable law, the mandatory legal right will prevail.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
